Sultan Abdulhamid II’s Intellectual Treasure Unveiled

Sultan Abdulhamid II, one of the Ottoman Empire’s last sultans, ruled the state for 33 years from Yıldız Palace. The Palace is now open for visitors, and one of the most interesting parts is the library that hosts Sultan Abdulhamid II’s intellectual treasure. With thousands of rare works, this library is regarded as the most extensive in Europe and the Middle East.

Delicious symbol of the Bosphorus: Bluefish

Bosphorus Bluefish, an indispensable part of Istanbul’s maritime culture, has been registered with the geographic indication by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office as a result of the efforts exerted by the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce and Istanbul Geographic Indication Consortium. This Bluefish, the ‘Master of the Bosphorus’, is merely edible in the world in Istanbul’s Bosphorus. As a symbol of Istanbul’s gastronomy, Bluefish is also considered the lord of fish.

USD 30 Billion Opportunity for High-Tech Investment

As part of the HIT-30 High-Tech Support Program, USD 30 billion will be allocated by 2030 to companies investing in Türkiye. The government will cover 50% of the staff expenses of the centres built in Türkiye by the world’s top 1000 companies in R&D. Additionally, USD 1 billion in support will be provided for these investments.

Facilities Provided by OIZS To Foreign Investors

A critical regulation was established to facilitate specific processes for foreign investors in the Organized Industrial Zones (OIZ), which assume 45% of Türkiye’s industrial production. Turkish Cypriots’ struggle for independence that lasted for years was crowned in 1983 with the foundation of the Republic. Ersin Tatar, TRNC President, reminded that Türkiye and TRNC were the countries that fought for world peace and added, “Türkiye and TRNC will continue to stand as the architects of peace and tranquillity that will safeguard the future.”
