IN recent years, regulations and investments in technological development in Türkiye have increased the number of technoparks to 102 and the R&D and design centres to 600. Türkiye’s rapidly growing ecosystem and infrastructure have created a golden age for technology startups. The fruitful performance displayed by the local technology startups also draws attention in other countries. Türkiye initiated a special program for talents and technology startups in different countries to develop this ecosystem further. The ‘Türkiye Tech Visa Program’ program provides quite favourable advantages to talents and startups.

EXEMPTIONS AND FLEXIBILITIES

With the help of this program, global talents who can contribute to Türkiye’s technology ecosystem can rapidly and easily fulfil all their demands, ranging from work permits to tax issues, project financing, and healthcare. Prominent exemptions and flexibilities will be granted to the talents and startups choosing Türkiye through this program.

The companies built in Türkiye by the startups accepted by the Türkiye Tech Visa Program, designed by the Ministry of Industry and Technology in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, will receive legal, financial, and technical counselling services for the first six months.

The government will also provide guidance to startups preferring Türkiye so that they can benefit from the state support and incentive programs.

CONSULTANCY SERVICES

The startups admitted to the program can benefit from the services related to business establishment processes in Türkiye. These include counselling services in incorporation, accounting/ finance, tax regulations, business and employment law. Moreover, the training services will be provided to offer comprehensive support to complementary demands of the companies established in Türkiye by the startups. The content of the counselling services to be provided to the startups are as follows:
