Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ICOC) celebrates the 140th anniversary of its establishment. In 2022, the Chamber will continue to develop the entrepreneurial ecosystem it has been building with 140 years of experience and open it up to the world. This year, ICOC will include new phases to its projects on women and young people’s enterprises and startup entrepreneurship and continue to be the beacon of business.

Türkiye gaining strength through cooperation in the space race

Turkish Space Agency (TSA) took a critical step on the path leading to membership in the European Space Agency (ESA). Conducting negotiations with EU member countries, TSA also signed a cooperation agreement with Japan. USA, Italy, France and United Kingdom are on the list of TSA.

Base of participation financing

Istanbul is a candidate for the league of the world’s top 10 financial centres in the next ten years with the Istanbul Finance Center project. A significant part of the centre will open this year. The project is expected to provide an inflow of US$ 250 billion to the Turkish economy after 15 years.

Türkiye on environmental-friendly industry’s route

The new industrial investments are expected to focus on the neighbouring countries due to the emission restrictions in Europe. Türkiye ratifying the Paris Agreement offers many advantages for such investments.
