Career center

Istanbul Ticaret University remains one step ahead of the other universities with the internship opportunities and career support it offers. The students can benefit from the Career Planning Center within the university to advance in their careers upon graduation. This centre acts as a bridge between university students and various sectors and enables compulsory and volunteered internships thanks to the facilities enabled by ICOC.

Campuses on each side of the Bosphorus

Sütlüce Campus, hosting Business Administration, Communication, Humanities and Social Sciences and Law faculties, was founded on the Golden Horn coast in 2013. The campus contains an Applied Trial Court for Law students, a broadcast studio (decoration room, editing, radio and stage management unit), an animation workshop, a media workshop, photography and practice rooms and a MAC lab for Communication faculty students. Business Administration students can practice in the Virtual Bank Hall and BistLab Market Hall within the Sütlüce Campus. The library built over 3 thousand square meters at this campus contains 500 thousand published and electronic books, a night hall, 19 study rooms and a capacity of 500 persons.

The campus at Küçükyalı, one of the Anatolian Side’s central neighbourhoods, includes the Engineering Faculty and the Architecture and Design Faculty. A physics lab, an internet lab, computer labs for all departments, Computer Engineering hardware and software laboratories, Industrial Engineering ergonomics and CIM/CIF labs remain on campus. The campus also hosts Defence Industry, PC, Physics, Electric-Electronic, Internet, and Digital Forensics Labs. The Architecture and Design Faculty students can benefit from the Mockup Workshop, Paint and Print Lab, Knitting and Weaving Workshop and the Drawing Workshop.

Student communities

There are nearly fifty student communities in the structure of the university. The students can become community members active in various areas ranging from sports to arts, social responsibilities to cultural events. Also, a certain number of students can form a new student community.
