TÜRKİYE’s leading fair centre, Istanbul Expo Center (IFM), has become a peerless meeting point in the international arena. IFM serves within the body of the Istanbul World Trade Center (IDTM) and the international fairs and sectoral events, and the local and international investors seize the opportunity to follow new business alternatives and innovations as well as the latest developments in the sectors with the business forums held in the venue.

YEARLY 90 FAIRS

IFM aims to render Istanbul the capital of global fairs and congresses, and every year, an average of 90 fairs are organised at the centre. International events that are regarded among the globe’s most prominent events that draw hundreds of thousands of visitors locally and globally, such as Hometex, AYMOD Shoe and Fashion Fair, International Jewelry Fair and ISAF, are being held at IFM. Its location, easy access, wide parking area with large capacity, landscaping, infrastructure and renewed modern halls are only some of IFM’s features that enhance the centre’s attraction.

11 EXHIBITION HALLS

Thanks to its advantages, there is an exponential increase in the local and international demands received by IFM. The centre currently owns an exposition space of 96 thousand square meters, and another 40 thousand square meters will be added to fulfil the increasing demand.

IFM has been entirely renovated and transformed into a modern exposition space by the IDTM. The centre currently hosts local and international visitors at 11 exhibition halls extending over 96 thousand square meters. Moreover, a business centre comprising three separate plazas with 17 stories, an 18 square meter Business Center Shopping Floor, a 4-star WOW Airport Hotel with 2 thousand 500 bed capacity, a 5-star WOW Istanbul Hotel, and the WOW Congress Center with 6 thousand 500-person capacity serve within the IDTM structure.

Istanbul will embrace the most significant exposition space

Şekib Avdagiç, President of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ICOC), stated that they planned to considerably expand the Istanbul Exposition Center (IFM) with an indoor area of 96 square meters within the Istanbul World Trade Center (IDTM) in 2024 and said, “Istanbul Chamber of Commerce will be proud to introduce Istanbul’s largest exposition space to the service of the city.”

Avdagiç added that 89 fairs were held at the IFM in 2023 and that the number of events per square meter equalled 2 million 428 thousand 750 square meters. Mentioning that they aimed to construct a 40 thousand square meters exhibition hall in the existing parking area as part of the first stage of their extension project, Avdagiç continued, “In the second stage, we intend to build a 35 thousand square meters exhibition hall and following this with the support of Ministry of Trade, we plan to grow in the parcel next to the IDTM’s plot.”
