New-generation startup center: BTM

Istanbul Chamber of Commerce designed BTM as a new-generation startup center six years ago, and the center has so far supported over 8 thousand 500 entrepreneurs and nearly 5 thousand enterprises. The participants of BTM programs can benefit from the privileges offered by this entrepreneurship center, the first entrepreneurship center founded by a commerce chamber. BTM became a regional and also global commercialization centre in time.

Renovated IFM Shines Bright in Fairs

Istanbul Expo Center (IFM) Türkiye’s largest exposition space started its journey to render Istanbul the centre of global fairs, and every year, it hosts an average of 90 fairs. IFM is being entirely renovated, and its exposition space is being increased to keep up with the rapid increase in local and international fairs. Another 40 thousand square meters will be added to the existing 96 thousand square meters exposition hall of IFM.

The healing colour COBALT BLUE

Academic and tile artist Gülüzar Çevik achieved a historic discovery in Sinan, the Architect’s most colourful work. Çevik documented that instead of 41, 66 different tulip patterns remained in the Rüstem Paşa Mosque, famous for its tiled interior. The artist engraved all 66 tulips on a board and named it Garden of Eden. Blue is the primary colour used in tile art, and Gülüzar Çevik hinted at the colour blue she uses in her works as she claims ‘blue is the healing colour.’

Istanbul Chamber of Commerce’s Dersaadet Library serves the readers with the century-old books kept in the historical peninsula. The library contains various works, including manuscripts, and it conveys to the readers of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce’s 142-year accumulation. Dersaadet Library lets visitors enjoy the city’s cultural atmosphere with the historical Liman Hanı building.
