Istanbul Chamber of Commerce started its educational building works in 1968 to make the children and youth who are the brilliant future of the country have education in suitable physical conditions.
Istanbul Chamber of Commerce undertook the construction of 40 schools in between 1968 and 2015 which are 23 elementary schools, 12 Vocational and Technical High Schools, one Vocational School, one Multi-Program High School, 2 Education Centers for Autistic Children, one Science and Art Center.
26 schools of the 40 schools in question locate in different districts of Istanbul and other 14 schools locate in the different parts of Anatolia.
The schools in Lice, Diyarbakir and Muradiye, Van were reconstructed after the earthquake to support the sustainability of education by Istanbul Chamber of Commerce.
